Usage
Local CCCC works without an account. Remote access publishes a public hostname so you can open your CCCC from another network.
We do not store your ledger or repository. You can cut a device at any time. Preview remote access currently supports Linux and macOS; capacity and availability are not guaranteed.
What we store
We store sign-in identities and verified email, browser sign-in records, temporary verification requests, device names and hostnames, last-seen from the Cloudflare tunnel, Group connections, private requests and replies, and abuse reports with handling records.
We do not store your ledger, repository, or product traffic.
Do not include secrets or full logs. Handled requests are deleted 180 days after the last update; account deletion removes your private requests. Retained requests and replies are included in account export.
Reports are private to authorized maintainers. Handled reports are deleted 180 days after the last handling record; unhandled reports remain for investigation. Account deletion removes your reporter link and contact email, not the report body. This form does not send replies.
Deleting an account cuts every device on that account and deletes the account record.
- The account page shows the hostname. That name is not an administrator login.
- Web and ChatGPT connector URLs include local secrets. They stay on the machine. A screenshot is a leaked key. Rotating a token changes that URL; paste it again.
- Cut disables this device, then deletes the tunnel and DNS. After Cut, the public hostname stops working and turning remote access on again fails.
- You can only cut devices on this account. A third-party report is a record; it does not cut anything by itself.
- Device hostnames live on cccc.foo. This account site is on a different domain.
- You can link additional sign-in methods in Account & security. Separate existing accounts and their devices are not merged by linking.
- Deleting an account only affects that account. If you accidentally have two, deleting one leaves the other.
- GitHub, Google, and email only sign the person in. Membership is not the local Admin Token.
